Meshroom is a powerful tool that allows you to transform photographs into 3D objects. With its user-friendly interface, even those with basic knowledge of 3D modeling software can easily navigate and utilize its features.
When starting a new project in Meshroom, simply drag and drop your photographs into the "images" section. The program will then analyze the metadata of each photo and generate a 3D scene that can be edited to suit your needs.
To achieve a full 3D shape, it is recommended to have around 10-20 photographs taken from different angles. However, the more photos you have, the better the results. Keep in mind that processing time will increase with the number of photos, so be prepared to wait for your object to be generated through mapping and meshing.
While Meshroom may not have the masking features of other similar software like Photoscan, or the ability to recreate the human body as accurately as OsirisX, it still remains a valuable addition to any digital imaging toolkit.
With Meshroom, you can easily transform your photographs into 3D CGI objects, opening up a world of possibilities for designers, artists, and anyone working with 3D models.
